| [Note For Experienced Animation Shop
Users *You can adapt most Smilies for use in this tag.
The glitter has 5 frames. You can usually Duplicate or Delete
a few Smilie frames to make your Smilie animation equal 5 frames.
If you need More Frames - Duplicate the frames where the smilie is
at rest. For instance, if he is jumping, duplicate the frame
where he has landed and is still. If he is blinking, duplicate
the frames where his eyes are open. If you need Fewer Frames,
delete transition frames. Again, if he is jumping, leave the
highest frame and the lowest. Delete the frames where he is on
the way up or down. If you can't adapt the smilie, you can
adapt the glitter. You can double the glitter to 10 frames
and/or delete the last frame or two of glitter without damaging the
final appearance. - Bottom Line - Just make whatever adjustments are
necessary to make your all your Smilies and Glitter end up with the
same number of frames. The only Smilies that just won't work
at all are the ones that have timing problems. Keep in mind
that you will need to set your speed at around 15 for the glitter to
look right. So you need to choose Smilies that will look OK at
that speed. * If you are new to Animation Shop, this tut will
go a lot smoother if you use the provided smilies, since they all
have 5 frames and already match the glitter. :-)]
To begin, Open your Smilie Glitter and your
Smilies in Animation Shop. (File>Open, then navigate to where
you saved them) Click on the Smilie Glitter.
Then Press Ctrl-A to select all the frames. Press Ctrl-C to
copy them.
Open Paint Shop Pro. Right Click and Paste
As Multiple Images. You should now have 5 frames of Glitter
open in PSP.
Open a new canvas.
File > New 400 x 400, Transparent ticked.
Click on your Text Tool (it looks like an A) and use the
following settings:

If you are using a different font, your may need to change the
Size also.
Make your Foreground Color (stroke) Black. Make your
background color Null by clicking on the Transparent symbol.

Type your name. Then, in your layer palette, right click on
Vector 1 and convert to Raster Layer. Rename it Text 1
Add a new Vector Layer and drag it to the bottom (under both your
text and your blank Raster 1 layer).
Select your Text Tool again. Use the same settings Except
change the Stroke Width to 3. Type your name again anywhere on
the canvas.

Drag your new name behind your first one. Try to place it
just a little above and to the right of the first one. It will
add just a bit of depth once the glitter is added. Be sure
that you don't leave any blank canvas between the 2 names.

It should now look like this:

In the Layer Palette, right click on your Vector Layer and
convert to Raster. Rename it Text 2.
